RANT. Only highlight if you want to read.
I got lectured by my parents yesterday. Ultimately, I know they mean well, but it's really fucking irritating when they try to get their nose in everything. My six choices for PSLE wasn't actually mine, it was theirs. My secondary CCA wasn't my choice, it was my mum's. I hated it. I hated my CCA because I have absolutely no interest in getting shouted and I find building structures a damn waste of time. Hence, the fucked up CCA grade.

Last night, I got a two hour lecture on my subject combination. My dad talked to me about how I was "limiting my path by choosing such useless subjects", and my mum behind kpkb, saying I should take Science instead of Arts because Arts is pointless and useless. Two times too many, I was forced to take what you wanted me to take. Not going to happen this time. My interest is in the Arts. I do care about my future, but I'm not going to suffer another two years because you think it's appropriate that I take this or that. I know what I want to do. Why do I have to justify to you why I'm choosing these subjects? It is ultimately, as you say, MY future, not yours. I love to study what I've chosen, so spare me some fucking space.


Tiring day, and school isn't even full swing yet. :/


Three lectures today. History, Economics and the useless "Study Skills".


I'm seriously frightened by the History syllabus. International History will probably be quite easy. I'm worried about the South East Asian component. In secondary school, we covered three countries, Malaya, Indonesia and Vietnam, and their respective colonial masters. Not only was the content dry, it was also complicated. The essay questions weren't that easy to write too.


H2 History. We'll be covering the same general overview, but deeper in depth. This time, we'll be covering TEN damn countries. As if it wasn't enough, we'll be covering international and SEA simultaneously. It's fucking scary. God help me.


Economics seems easy enough. "Study Skills" is a waste of time, period.


Played daidi & Cheat during the intervals. Psycho people at Cheat is damn funny lah. :D


CCA Exhibition was fun. Attempted shooting! Man the rifle is heavy, but fun! Really hoping I can get in. Walked through the hall looking at the other exhibits. I saw something that left a HUGE impression.


I saw OGL Pearlie walking through the hall with a softball bat swung over her shoulders, walking with a swagger like you screw with me, I'll anal you with this bat. Scary la. That time you ask us whether you look fierce, I'm giving a definite YES now. :D


Next week, we'll be sent to our classes. Sad, I'm liking our OG alot. ):


I was being selfish. I was so hopeful that finally, someone I knew would actually be in the same school. I shouldn't have pressed. I'm sorry.
